During the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore UNAM\u2019s advanced research infrastructure and learn about the academic opportunities it offers.<\/p>\n<p>As part of their \u201cGrinding Processes in Nanotechnology\u201d course, the students toured the cutting-edge infrastructure of UNAM\u2014comprising over 300 advanced technology devices, 87 laboratories, and two separate cleanrooms spanning a total of 856 square meters. The students were introduced to advanced characterization instruments, including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) systems, gaining insights into techniques used to examine and analyze the structural properties of materials at the micro- and nanoscale.
