Prof. Fatih \u0130nci has been awarded the 2025 Eczac\u0131ba\u015f\u0131 Medical Incentive Award. Recognized for his innovative work in health sciences as well as in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, and nanotechnology, \u0130nci was honored with this prestigious award for his pioneering contributions to early diagnosis and personalized approaches to medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Asst. Prof. \u0130nci\u2019s research focuses on point-of-care diagnostic tests, biosensors, microfluidic systems, extracellular vesicles, and microneedle technologies, as well as their clinical applications. The low-cost, rapid, and highly sensitive diagnostic platforms he has developed are used in the early detection of infectious diseases, cancer, and other health conditions. These technologies have the potential to directly impact millions of lives worldwide and offer accessible solutions for global health disparities.<\/p>\n<p>The Eczac\u0131ba\u015f\u0131 Medical Awards were established in 1959 by Dr. Nejat F. Eczac\u0131ba\u015f\u0131 to advance the development of medical and pharmaceutical sciences in Turkey. Aimed at encouraging scientific research and recognizing outstanding scientists, the awards continue to this day.
