Prof. \u0130brahim Sarpkaya, Asst. Prof. Mustafa Ordu, and Asst. Prof. Fatih \u0130nci have taken the spotlight on TRT 1\u2019s \u201cReturn to the Homeland\u201d (Yurda D\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f) program where they share their inspiring stories of scientific pursuits abroad and their return back to T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n<p>After conducting groundbreaking research at some of the world\u2019s most prestigious universities and research institutions\u2014including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Boston University, and George Washington University\u2014these scientists chose to return to T\u00fcrkiye to continue their work at UNAM. Bringing their global experience home, they are now shaping the future of science and mentoring the next generation of researchers.<\/p>\n<p>Now back at UNAM, these researchers are once again able to take advantage of its world-class research infrastructure, international-standard laboratories, and strong culture of interdisciplinary collaboration that can enable its researchers to conduct cutting-edge studies that expand the frontiers of materials science, nanotechnology, biotechnology, photonics, and fiber technologies.<\/p>\n<p>In the program, Asst. Prof. \u0130nci share their personal and professional journeys, their passion for science, and their contributions to the growing movement of reversing brain drain from T\u00fcrkiye.
