Curated by Berlin-based photographer Jean Molitor and Prof. Andreas Treske, Chair of the Department of Communication and Design at Bilkent University, the exhibition featured works by researchers and students, including striking images obtained using advanced technological devices at UNAM (National Nanotechnology Research Center).<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition combined discoveries made during exploration trips to T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s \u00c7ank\u0131r\u0131 Salt Cave and Salt Lake with artistic interpretations. Using UNAM&#8217;s Material Microscope, the intricate microstructure of salt was captured in detail, while FIB (Focused Ion Beam) technology produced impressive visuals at the micron and nanoscale. Additionally, salt samples collected from the cave and the lake were displayed as part of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>As curator of the exhibition, Professor Andreas Treske emphasized the event\u2019s intention to highlight the aesthetic potential of salt with a minimalist approach.
