Bu modda kolon y\u00fcksek vakum alt\u0131ndad\u0131r ve numune odas\u0131 0,075 ila 1,5 Torr (10 ila 200 Pa) aras\u0131nda de\u011fi\u015fen y\u00fcksek bir bas\u0131n\u00e7tad\u0131r. Bu modda, dahili bir su haznesinden su buhar\u0131 veya kullan\u0131c\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan sa\u011flanan ve bu ama\u00e7 i\u00e7in sa\u011flanan bir gaz giri\u015fine ba\u011flanan yard\u0131mc\u0131 gaz kullan\u0131labilir.
