The 2014 TÜBİTAK awards ceremony took place on December 24 at the presidential palace. Two UNAM professors were among those recognized by TÜBİTAK (the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey) for their work.
Assoc. Prof. Tamer Uyar and Asst. Prof. Bülend Ortaç received 2014 TÜBİTAK Incentive Awards. The TÜBİTAK Incentive Award is given to scientists who are under the age of 40 and who have proven to have the potential to provide outstanding contributions to science in the future at an international level.
