Dr. Serim Kayacan İlday of Bilkent University-UNAM has been elected as a “Fellow” by the Young Academy of Europe (YAE).
The YAE was founded in 2012, with a mission to provide input to scientific exchange and science policy across all member states of the European Union and Associated Countries. YAE members are selected based on the highest standards of scientific achievements and international recognition by their peers. The members seek to provide a ‘younger’ perspective about the future of science policy and academia in Europe. The YAE also promotes networking between its members to create a pool of information, pass on experience, give feedback, and provide active support to colleagues across Europe and future generations of leading scientists.
