Prof. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir and Asst. Prof. Urartu Özgür Şafak Şeker participated in the “Asian Talks Singapore” panel, which discussed the success story of Singapore as one of the leading economic and financial centers of the world.
The panel was organized by Ankara University on February 23, 2022. Prof. Dr. Ali Merthan Dündar, Director of the Asia-Pacific Studies Application and Research Center (APAM) was the moderator, and Ambassador, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General for Multilateral Political Affairs and Asia Re-Coordinator Nilvana Darama, Singapore Ambassador to Ankara Jonathan Tow, 27th Term Member of Parliament for Denizli, President of Turkey-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship Group Nilgün Ök were the guest of honor. Bilkent University Faculty Members UNAM Director Prof. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir and UNAM researcher Asst. Prof. Urartu Özgür Şafak Şeker discussed Singapore’s educational system as well as possible future opportunities for collaboration.
