Among the 113 scientists who were evaluated for the call for the 2021 TÜBİTAK 2247-A National Leading Researchers Program, 4 of the 31 scientists who were selected have ties to Bilkent University UNAM.
To support projects that have the potential to make breakthroughs in scientific and technological fields, to provide the opportunity to fill important gaps in the field, to empower researchers with new perspectives, and to support the scientists in Turkey who will carry out these projects, the TUBITAK 2247-A National Leading Researchers Program has granted support to the following recipients:
- UNAM Director Prof. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir, for his project entitled “Electrically-Driven Innovatively-Structured Atomically-Flat Nanocrystal QLEDs for Future Display Technologies” (ADN-QLED),
- Assoc. Prof. Sedat Nizamoğlu, a Bilkent University graduate. His graduate and doctorate studies were supervised by UNAM Director Prof. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir, Asst.
