The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey’s (TÜBİTAK) 1004 High Technology Platforms Program Experience Sharing and Promotion Ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 23th. The event was graced by the presence of Mehmet Fatih Kaçır, Minister of Industry and Technology; Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK; Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Higher Education Institution (YÖK) and rectors from esteemed research universities.
Since being awarded support through the first call made under this program in 2018, the A1 Platform has been making remarkable progress towards achieving national goals. The A1 Platform, a collaboration among Turkey’s leading industrial entities such as TUSAŞ, Vestel, Şişecam, in conjunction with Bilkent University, Eskişehir Technical University, Abdullah Gül University, and TOBB ETÜ, led by UNAM, has remained committed since 2021 to advancing cutting-edge R&D endeavors, aiming to bestow Turkey with high-tech products.
Representatives of the A1 Platform graced the occasion, offering their profound insights and experiences, reflecting the platform’s critical national significance. At the ceremony, representatives of the A1-1004 platform shared their nationally critical high-value outcomes of R&D efforts and experiences.
