Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center’s (UNAM) Asst. Prof. Fatih İnci recently published his groundbreaking research entitled “In Situ Synthesis and Dynamic Simulation of Molecularly Imprinted Polymeric Nanoparticles on a Micro-reactor System,” in the prestigious journal Nature Communications.
Asst. Prof. Fatih İnci and his team have designed a microreactor that allows for swift and efficient production of molecularly imprinted polymer nanoparticles using model proteins (e.g., bovine serum albumin). This groundbreaking approach presents a platform that offers reduced cost; faster results, higher efficiency, and multi-time use assets when compared to conventional methods. This advancement holds substantial promise in the production and applications of molecularly imprinted polymers.
