The Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) continues its research and educational activities with a vision of producing original knowledge and cultivating a skilled workforce. With a mission to spread science to broader audiences and empower young minds to explore their full potential, UNAM brought together Çubuk Science and Art Center (BİLSEM) students and the world of science.
Dr. Mustafa Ordu and Dr. Ayça Arslan Ergül, along with their teams conducting research at UNAM, hosted 23 high school students from Çubuk BİLSEM on Friday, November 10, 2023. The students toured the advanced facilities of UNAM, observed the clean rooms, had the chance to examine specimens with an optical microscope, and viewed images of plant cells taken with a laser scanning confocal microscope. UNAM takes immense pride in opening its doors to young aspiring researchers and helping to foster their passion for science, and we unwaveringly uphold this as a vital mission of our organization.
