Prof. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir, Director of Bilkent University UNAM and head of the Department of Materials Science and Nanotechnology Graduate Program, has been listed in Stanford University and Elsevier’s list of the world’s most influential top 2% most cited scientists.
A total of 204,604 scientists have been featured on this prestigious list, which is prepared by considering indicators including number of publications, citations, h-index, and hm-index. H-index is a metric representing the number of citations for a researcher’s most cited publication. Hm-index is a metric that, by weighting citations, highlights researchers’ more impactful works.
