Bilkent graduate Assoc. Prof. Safacan Kölemen has been honored with the 2024 Research Incentive Award by the METU Parlar Foundation. Assoc. Prof. Kölemen is an alumnus of the Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) Program at Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) and currently works in the Department of Chemistry at Koç University.
The Research Incentive Award is presented annually to foster scientific research, support researchers, and promote the generation and dissemination of knowledge.
