4 of 12 Awardees from UNAM: Dr. Talip Serkan Kasırga Receives METU Parlar Foundation Research Incentive Award

Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center’s (UNAM) Dr. Talip Serkan Kasırga has been awarded the METU Parlar Foundation’s 2025 Research Incentive Award for his work in condensed matter physics and quantum materials. Among the 12 scientists awarded this year, four are affiliated with UNAM. Along with Dr. Kasırga, Asst. Prof. Mustafa Ordu, Asst. Prof. Gürkan Yeşilöz, and Asst. Prof. Hasan Yılmaz were also awarded the prize this year. Dr. Kasırga is particularly known for his research on low-dimensional and strongly correlated quantum systems.
