On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) hosted senior executives from SOCAR’s Departments of Science, Technology and Nanotechnologies, as well as Talent Management and Business Partnerships and representatives from SOCAR Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
Along with discussing potential R&D collaborations between UNAM and SOCAR—particularly in the fields of energy, advanced materials, and sustainable technologies, the delegation visited UNAM’s laboratories and research facilities as part of a technical tour. During the visit, the delegation was comprehensively briefed on UNAM’s interdisciplinary research approach, ongoing R&D activities, and advanced research infrastructure and facilities.
