Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center’s (UNAM) Assoc. Prof. Engin Durgun has been awarded TÜBİTAK funding for a collaborative research project to be carried out with partners in Azerbaijan.
The project, which Assoc. Prof. Durgun will be conducting in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Ziya S. Aliyev of Baku State University, has been selected as one of seven projects to receive support under the 2517 TÜBİTAK–Azerbaijan Science Foundation (ASF) Bilateral Cooperation Support Program. Within the framework of the scientific collaboration between Bilkent University UNAM and Baku State University, the project will bring together computational materials design and experimental realization to explore next-generation magnetic topological materials for thermoelectric and spin-caloritronic applications.
