Asst. Prof. Emre Ozan Polat, faculty member of the Department of Physics at Bilkent University and a researcher at the National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) has received the 2025 TÜBA–GEBİP Outstanding Young Scientist Award for his groundbreaking studies on the interaction of low-dimensional quantum materials with light as well as their potential applications in multifunctional optoelectronic devices.
