Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center’s (UNAM) Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) Program alumnus, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safacan Kölemen, has been honored with the 2025 TÜBİTAK Encouragement Award.
Currently continuing his academic work in Koç University’s Department of Chemistry, Assoc. Prof. Kölemen was recognized for his outstanding research on the development of organic therapeutic molecules and molecular sensors.
The TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service, and Encouragement Awards are presented annually to support research and development activities in scientific and technological fields and to foster the growth of scientists.
