Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) met with Pakistan’s National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES) at Bilkent CYBERPARK on February 11, 2026. This official academic engagement, supported by Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan H.E. Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu, brought a 26-member delegation of faculty and students from FAST-NUCES to visit Bilkent University and explore the CYBERPARK innovation ecosystem.
The delegation represented a broad range of disciplines, including computing (artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, computer science, and cyber security), electrical and computer engineering, and management and business fields (business analytics, fintech, business administration, accounting, and finance). The multidisciplinary group had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into Türkiye’s advanced research infrastructure and university–industry collaboration models.
As part of the visit, comprehensive presentations were delivered on UNAM and the Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) Master’s and Ph.D. programs. The discussions focused on structured and sustainable opportunities for academic collaboration between Bilkent University and FAST-NUCES, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence, data science, advanced engineering solutions, and nanotechnology-driven applications.
