Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) has become a member of the University-Industry Collaboration Centers Platform (ÜSİMP) as part of its vision to strengthen university-industry collaborations. Through this membership, UNAM aims to transform its advanced research infrastructure, interdisciplinary research ecosystem, and high-technology-focused R&D capacity into stronger and more sustainable collaborations with other industries.
Having previously carried out joint R&D and innovation activities with public institutions and private sector stakeholders across a wide range of fields, including advanced materials, functional surfaces, health technologies, biotechnology, sensor technologies, semiconductors, and micro/nano manufacturing, UNAM continues to develop projects that support the transformation of research outcomes into high value-added products and technologies. UNAM aims to contribute to the development of innovative solutions needed by the industrial sector and to expand strategic collaborations within the national technology ecosystem by capitalizing on its strong research infrastructure, cleanroom facilities, and interdisciplinary expertise.
ÜSİMP is a prominent platform operating to support the development of the university-industry collaboration ecosystem in Türkiye by bringing together universities, research centers, technology transfer offices, and industrial organizations. The platform aims to enhance the exchange of knowledge and experience, encourage collaborative projects, and support the transformation of research outputs into economic and societal value.
