Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) welcomed Ankara University’s Department of Physics and Physics Engineering undergraduate students on June 4, 2026. During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore UNAM’s advanced research infrastructure and academic opportunities.
The students toured the cutting-edge infrastructure of UNAM—comprising over 300 advanced technology devices, 87 laboratories, and two separate cleanrooms spanning a total of 856 square meters. They also received comprehensive information about the center’s activities and ongoing research. Through presentations and facility tours, participants gained insight into pioneering studies in nanotechnology, biotechnology, and materials science, while observing research activities carried out within one of Türkiye’s most advanced research ecosystems.
As part of the visit, students were also introduced to UNAM’s Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) Graduate Programs designed to nurture and train future researchers, scientists, and R&D leaders.
