Dr. Onur Tokel who is a faculty member at National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) and Department of Physics, received “Outstanding Young Scientist Award” (TÜBA-GEBİP).
TÜBA-GEBİP – Outstanding Young Scientist Awards, which are under the auspices of the Presidency, among other prestigious Turkish Science Academy (TÜBA) Awards, were given at the official TÜBA and TÜBİTAK Science Awards Ceremony by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which was held at the Presidential Complex on 30 December, 2019.
TÜBA introduced GEBİP in 2001 in order to award exceptional young scientists and to recognize and support outstanding young researchers working in the natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and medicine.
