Didem Dede, a MS graduate student of Demir Research Group in MSN program at Bilkent, has been awarded with the ACS Nano Best Poster Award at NaNaX8, Nanoscience with Nanocrystals Conference in Portugal 2017, with the title of ‘Colloidal Heterostructures of Nanoplatelets for Highly Tunable Excitonic Properties’. NaNaX8 brings together scientists of different research disciplines, in the fields of synthesis, characterization and applications of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals and metal nanoparticles.
