Bartu Şimşek, a PhD student in the Ortaç Research Group of the UNAM MSN program at Bilkent University, was awarded the 2021 EPS QEOD/Young Minds Best Student Presentation Award at CLEO®/Europe-EQEC’s Conference on Laser and Electro Optics—European Quantum Electronics Conference that was held in Munich, Germany. The presentation was titled “High-Power Cladding Light Stripper with Vapor Deposition of Polyethersulfone.” We congratulate our graduate and wish him all the success in his future endeavors.
