The 6th Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF’21), which brought together inventors, researchers, and innovators from different parts of the world, was hosted in-person by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office between September 21-26, 2021. The event was held at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport with the Honorary Patronage of the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Industry and Technology. It was also held under the international patronage of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), organized by the Anatolia Inventions and Inventors Association, and supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation. UNAM, invited by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, was awarded a gold medal for a patent for display technologies it entered the competition. On behalf of UNAM, Emre Ünal and Duygu Berberoğlu accepted the gold medal given by Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology.
