Bilkent University UNAM Infrastructure Manager and Assistant Director Özgür Yıldırım participated in the “Corporate Sustainability: Sustainability of Research and Innovation Centers – Examples of Good Practice” panel organized by the Competitive Sectors Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology on June 9-10 in Çeşme, İzmir.
Özgür Yıldırım stated that, in addition to conducting high-impact R&D projects in the fields of nanoscience, nanotechnology, biotechnology and materials sciences at UNAM, UNAM also collaborates with leading organizations from different fields to create cutting-edge science on a global scale and produce high value-added technologies.
The Ministry of Industry and Technology’s Competitive Sectors Program (RSP) is designed to increase the competitiveness of enterprises in domestic and foreign markets as part of financial cooperation between the European Union and Turkey. RSP is an umbrella program that conducts operational programs that are implemented in 7-year periods and aim to increase productivity, accelerate industrialization, and develop a competitive production structure for export.
