Two-Day Workshop Held with Research Partners from Germany at UNAM

A scientific workshop on emerging nanomaterials was held at UNAM on the dates of 5-6 September 2022 in partnership with Technical University of Dresden from Germany and Bilkent University UNAM.  With Professor Nikolai Gaponik visiting from TU Dresden and Bilkent University UNAM Director Professor Hilmi Volkan Demir co-chairing the two-day workshop together, Asst. Prof. Serkan Kasırga, Asst. Prof. İbrahim Sarpkaya, Dr. Savaş Delikanlı, Dr. Betül Canımkurbey, MSN PhD candidates Farzan Shabani and Furkan Işık from UNAM, Prof. Evren Mutlugün and Asst. Prof. Talha Erdem from Abdullah Gül University, and our guests Prof. Nikolai Gaponik and Dr. Vladimir Lesnyak from TU Dresden have delivered invited talks in the workshop. The workshop has triggered new joint research work on advanced nanomaterials between Germany and Turkey.
