Prof. Dr. Emrah Özensoy, Bilkent University Chemistry Department Head, Faculty Member, and UNAM associate, received the 2022 Sedat Simavi Foundation Science Award for his work entitled “Unraveling Molecular Fingerprints of Catalytic Sulfur Poisoning at the Nanometer Scale with Near-Field Infrared Spectroscopy.” The study was published on the cover of the Journal of the American Chemical Society, the leading scientific journal in the field of chemistry and its inter-disciplinary domains.
