The Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) continues its research and educational activities with a vision of producing original knowledge and cultivating a skilled workforce. With a mission to spread science to broader audiences and empower young minds to explore their full potential, UNAM organizes exclusive events tailored for high school students.
Through this initiative, Dr. Ayça Arslan Ergül and her dedicated team at UNAM recently hosted students from Beştepe College. Besides exploring UNAM’s impressive infrastructure, students had the opportunity to conduct experiments, including techniques like gram staining, bacteria staining, and observing model organisms through powerful microscopes. UNAM takes immense pride in opening its doors to young aspiring researchers to foster their passion for science, and we unwaveringly uphold this as a vital mission of our organization.
