Asst. Prof. Sündüs Erbaş Çakmak, a graduate of the Bilkent University UNAM Materials Science and Nanotechnology MSN Master’s Program, has been awarded the 2023 Ahmet and Nezahat Keleşoğlu Turkey Science Academy – Outstanding Successful Young Scientist (TÜBA-GEBİP) Pharmacy Special Award for her research in the field of chemical biology.
The TÜBA-GEBİP Award is granted annually to support distinguished scientists under the age of 40 who conduct high-quality scientific studies and have developed their own research groups. The award also aims to encourage these young scientists to conduct their outstanding research specifically in Turkey. As of this year, a total of 610 scientists have been granted the TÜBA-GEBİP Award.
