Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center’s (UNAM) Asst. Prof. Cüneyt Şahin has received the 2024 Science Academy Young Scientists Award Program (BAGEP) Award for his work in the field of physics. Asst. Prof. Şahin’s research is centered around the theoretical prediction discovery of novel quantum materials destined for the technologies of tomorrow, including quantum computing and spin-based electronics.
