The Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) offers engaging and interactive scientific activities tailored for middle and high school students as part of its mission to contribute to the widespread dissemination of science, enable younger generations to discover their potential, and promote interactive and accessible science and technology. Through this initiative, Dr. Ayça Arslan Ergül and her dedicated team at UNAM recently hosted students from Yenimahalle Şehit Sercan Öztürk Anadolu High School.
In addition to exploring UNAM’s impressive infrastructure, students had the opportunity to conduct experiments, including techniques like gram staining, bacteria staining, and observing model organisms through powerful microscopes. UNAM takes immense pride in opening its doors to young aspiring researchers to foster their passion for science, and we unwaveringly uphold this as a vital mission of our organization.
