As part of the Science Will Win with Youth Project by the Science Heroes Association and Pfizer Turkey, 17 high school students participated in the UNAM Science Workshop: Creative Experiences Under the Light of Science on June 2, 2024. The students met with Dr. Ayça Arslan Ergül and her team and had the opportunity to explore UNAM’s impressive infrastructure, as well as to conduct experiments such as gram staining, bacterial staining, and observing model organisms under a microscope.
The Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) organizes periodic events like the UNAM Science Workshop: Creative Experiences Under the Light of Science for middle and high school students. These events are aimed at spreading science to wider audiences, enabling young generations to discover their own potential, and making science and technology interactive and accessible.
