Asst. Prof. Emre Ozan Polat, a professor in Bilkent University’s Department of Physics and a Principal Investigator at the Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM), has been awarded the METU Parlar Foundation’s 2024 Research Incentive Award.
This prestigious award, granted annually by the METU Parlar Foundation to foster scientific research, support researchers, and promote the generation and dissemination of knowledge, recognizes Asst. Prof. Polat’s groundbreaking studies on the interaction of low-dimensional quantum materials with light and their potential applications in multifunctional optoelectronic devices.
