Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center’s (UNAM) Asst. Prof. Gürkan Yeşilöz participated as a guest speaker at Hacettepe EMBS Days, held at Hacettepe University on October 12–13, 2026. The event was organized by the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) of the Hacettepe University Student Branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
At the well-attended event, Asst. Prof. Yeşilöz delivered a talk entitled “Microfluidic Systems and Engineering Applications in Medicine,” which explored microfluidic technologies that enable precise control of very small volumes of fluids and their applications in medicine, biotechnology, and healthcare. He also shared insights into UNAM’s research activities and advanced technological infrastructure, highlighting recent scientific and technological developments, interdisciplinary research opportunities, and career prospects for students in science and engineering.
