To train the academic and technology leaders of the future,
a) Providing postgraduate education in the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology’s Department of Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) at our founding higher education institution of Bilkent University, offering fundamental and applied advanced research training for theses in MSN and other departments, as well as to attract talented scientists,
b) Utilizing our infrastructure to provide training in advanced instrumentation techniques and to create a qualified R&D workforce.
To produce quality know-how in our fields of activity,
a) Supporting the cultivation and development of creative ideas in fundamental and applied R&D studies,
b) Contributing to the success of UNAM, and hence Turkey, with high technology platforms and systematic innovation.
